Description
A quick and flavorful dish featuring shrimp cooked in a luscious lemon garlic butter sauce.
Ingredients
- 1.5 lb shrimp (36-40 count per bag), peeled and deveined
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 large lemon, juiced
- 1 teaspoon seasoning salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ¼ cup fresh parsley, finely chopped (optional)
Instructions
- In a large pan over medium heat, add the butter and minced garlic. Let it simmer gently for 1-2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add the shrimp to the pan along with the seasoning salt, black pepper, paprika, and lemon juice. Stir well to coat the shrimp.
- Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, for 3-5 minutes until the shrimp are pink and opaque.
- Remove from heat, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve over rice, pasta, or with crusty bread.
Notes
For best results, use medium-to-large shrimp and avoid browning the garlic to prevent bitterness.
